There have been many allegations tied to the medical device called transvaginal mesh. People have been claiming that the materials used in the making of the mesh are quite incompatible with the human body. This has especially affected people suffering from pelvic organ prolapse and stress urinary incontinence which has led to lawsuits against the transvaginal mesh.
There have been many studies set out just for this issue. Recently, it was found out that more injuries may happen when a vaginal mesh is removed, especially among those who have already suffered injuries from it. The study was done by Spectrum Health Medical Group and the Mayo Clinic which was published in the American Journal of Obstetrics and Gynecology.
